Tired of the mushys

Hi World, Yes, I am tired of the mushys. Food- I ate 1/2 cup cottage cheese. Well more like 1/4 since my daughter kept asking for some. I cooked some fresh spinach and a piece of ham (chewed very very well). Weight- why do I weigh myself everyday? It was up to 225. I think I will only do once a week like so many other banded bloggers out there. I told my husband about my blog. He wasn't that interested. He's missing out on some good reading. Thank you Lap Band Gal for the shout out. Hi to all of my new followers. I will definitely be reading all of your blogs and following you too. Okay I have to go eat something. Maybe more cottage cheese and some fruit. Bye y'all.

  1. Hi! I understand being tired of mushy foods! I was banded on 12/5/11 and I really got bored with the mush food. I did the oatmeal for breakfast and then I didn't mind the Deli turkey for lunch and I would have it with some string cheese and maybe a few wheat thins. Fish was a staple for dinner but it only lasts a while and then there are more things to eat! Good luck and hang in there!

  2. I remember those days and I don't really miss them. Thankfully they don't last for ever and you will eventually be able to eat regular food again :o)

  3. Have you tried those Starkist Tuna Creations? I'm not a tuna fan, but I just picked some up the other day in the garlic and herb flavor for a quick lunch at school and they're pretty tasty. Today I'll be trying the sweet and spicy flavor.

    And about the weighing, there are A LOT of self proclaimed "scale whores" out there in blog land. We can all tell ourselves we'll only weigh once a week, but we all know we're just lying to ourselves. It's an addiction. It does cause slight insanity, but just know that it is a normal thing to do to weigh every day.
